Aerial Yoga in Vilnius

Explore yoga with the support, freedom and playfulness of the aerial swing. At Yoga Loftas we use the hammock to support traditional yoga postures, develop strength and mobility, explore inversions and create a very different relationship with movement and gravity.

We offer two styles of aerial yoga at Yoga Loftas:

Aerial Yoga GENERAL – our more active practice, using the swing to explore yoga postures, strength, mobility, balance and inversions.

Aerial Yoga RELAX – a slower practice combining gentle movement with supported and restorative work in the hammock.

For those interested in yoga as a tool for spiritual growth and transformation — an inner orientation — the presence of mind and sense of ease that can arise when using the swing can become a valuable starting point for the inward journey.

From the moment you begin working with the swing, you enter into a relationship of union — and union is, of course, one of the meanings of yoga. Through this physical relationship with the hammock, we can begin to explore a deeper sense of connection: with the body, with the present moment, and ultimately with our own deeper consciousness.

The practice invites qualities such as connection, surrender, presence and the breaking of boundaries — both physical and psychological. These are not simply qualities of an aerial practice; they can also become part of the wider spiritual journey.

  • A playful and absorbing practice that can help shift attention away from everyday stresses

  • Develops concentration, coordination and present-moment awareness.

  • Exploring unfamiliar movements can build confidence and trust in the body

  • The hammock can provide a sense of support and security during slower, restorative work

  • Many students simply find aerial yoga joyful — an opportunity to move, experiment and play
